Sigma Sigma Sigma

"From the outside looking in, you can never understand it, from the inside looking out, you can never explain it."  

Recruitment is one of the most exciting times of the year for Tri Sigma because we get to welcome new members into our sisterhood.  Our sisterhood is a very unique bond to be a part of. It is always amazing to share that bond with new members, to be passed down for years to come.  It is a bond that our founders worked very hard to form so long ago.  Tri Sigma lets us strive to our full potential. Tri Sigma brings out aspects in each of us that we never knew we had.  We are unique in that we insure exquisite and perpetual bonds of friendship, strong womanly character, we inspire high standards of ethical conduct, and always move ever forward to become the best that we can be.  Tri Sigma comes with timeless opportunities that before membership, we hardly thought to be possible.  Our organization allows for many different types of connections with Alumni and other Tri Sigmas nationally as well as internationally.  Tri Sigma was the first sorority to expand internationally, and the only sorority with a hearing impaired chapter.  Our chapter participates in many philanthropic events, including events hosted by other fraternities and sororities on campus.  Our chapter jumps at any opportunity to become involved in the community. We sponsor the local blood drives on campus and also have our own highway in Charleston that we clean up twice a semester. These are just a few of the projects we are involved in!  Our members are very involved on campus and take part in several different honors fraternities, clubs, and other extracurriculars & campus positions.  Our chapter is always thinking of new ideas for new projects and ways to make us unique.  We are very social and have weekly sisterhoods.  We have several functions throughout the year which allow us to make our bond even stronger.  Our chapter is truly a home away from home - a family that continues to grow exclusively with friendships that will last a lifetime!
